When will the MDCAT 2026 answer key be released?
PMDC and the provincial conducting bodies typically publish the official key within a few days of the exam. Candidate-reconstructed keys circulate within hours. We publish our reconstruction on exam day and replace it with the official key as soon as it is out.
Is there negative marking in MDCAT 2026?
No. PMDC has confirmed there is no negative marking, so your score is simply your number of correct answers out of 180.
How do I calculate my aggregate once I know my score?
Use the official PMDC formula: 10% Matric + 40% FSc + 50% MDCAT. Our aggregate calculator does it for you and shows the contribution of each component.
What if I disagree with an answer in the key?
Conducting bodies run a formal challenge window after the exam, usually a few days, in which candidates can contest specific questions. Watch the official portal for your body for the exact dates.
What is the passing score for MDCAT?
55% (99 out of 180) for MBBS and 50% (90 out of 180) for BDS. Meeting the pass mark does not guarantee a seat - admission is on merit.
